Research

For my research for my short film documentary I will be doing, I will research how a review based video is structured as well as what are the main focuses are of the review while being able to explain it to the reviewer as easily as possible.

As I will be doing a video on one of the resident evil games to review I shall play the game and record footage to give my first hand impressions of the game I had played.

I will also do a quick summary on what the resident evil is with the story synopsis I can find online.

Here is a poster of the game where it got awarded a best of E3 award in 2018 and won the Best of Show award.

Inspirations

My inspiration for me doing a game review comes from content creators such as Jontron and UpisNotJump.

These two are both content creators that create videos reviewing products and games and giving their reactions towards it in the form of slapstick comedy.

I have always found their ways of reviewing something to be hilarious and very entertaining.

When it comes to my video I will create an intro via after effects as a form of branding similar to JonTrons videos.

Production Schedule

11.5.21 : [Script Writing] I am starting my Script for my Final Major Project that I will take screenshots for my pre-production page.

[locations & shots] After I have done my Script I will then Write down a list of locations as well as the specific type of shot I'll be using for the scene.

[Skit Scenes] After writing down the locations and shots I will then use both a camera and audio recorder for those scenes and start recording the smaller scenes.

[Gameplay footage] I have some pre-recorded footage that I took for the Project so I won't need to worry about gameplay footage.

[Main recording] Once the footage and smaller scenes are done I will  focus on doing an audio and visual recording of me while reading the script.

[Editing] After all of my recordings and footage are collected I will begin the video editing process and start to work on my Final major project.
