Movie posters
Promotion
Key art: the "key art" is the artwork used for the main and most seen type of promoting for the upcoming film, an example of this is Avengers: Endgame poster.

Typography: This is for when you are using fonts for your promotional material for your product as well as label/titling your product while also giving off various vibes and tones depending on the genre of film. Example of fonts are below that I acquired from a font website known as dafont.
Tagline: a tagline is like a slogan that are used for promotions on tv and film posters which are used to intrigue you into considering checking the product out, Example of the Alien poster for Alien (1979).

Pull quotes: pull quotes are pieces of quotes taken from various reviews of the movie and are used to promote the movie as well as to increase the viewers interest towards the product, an example of this is the poster for the film Minority report starring Tom Cruise.

Reviews
Getting your film reviewed: having your movie reviewed will determine whether people will go see your film or not watch your film based on scores published by both critics and the audience though critics and the audience sometimes differ from what they find good or bad, Two examples below are Marvel's captain marvel movie and the Venom movie.
Marvel's Captain Marvel has a very high critic score but quite a bad audience score showing the difference between the two when it comes to review scores.
Sony's Venom Movie had a very bad critics score of less than 30% but the audience score is a whopping 81%, just the same with captain marvel critics and the audience have a different outlook on what's a good film and what's a bad film
Captain Marvel is a rather bland film with the main character being mostly bland and not that much emotion, with a pretty average story that feels more like an after thought and barely being able to follow due to falling asleep half way through, and where most of stuff explained in the film as well as characters are never heard from again.
The Venom Movie is a rather good film without the need to rely on a story needing Spider-Man in it with tom hardy playing the roles of both Eddie and venom splendidly, the story is rather simple but enjoyable and when there's action scenes it's an absolute treat with a tad bit of comedy thrown in at suitable times.

Publicity Stunt
A publicity stunt is used in a effort to promote an upcoming film, show or any other form of media, from a dragon skull at a beach for the latest game of thrones season to a Michael Jackson statue floating down the thames for his new album release.

I don't really have a publicity stunt that can help promote my Final Project.
Synergy
Synergy is when multiple forms of media combine and become an advertisement for one another, a prime example is the song "Happy" being used in the despicable me 2 film while the movie posters were using the words "happy" on them which are used to. advertise both of them.

An idea for some synergy for my FMP kind of synergises itself as the video technically promotes the game through it's entirety as it's a review of the game.
Paid Promotion
When you pay for your work to be advertised wether that it's in the form of posters at bus stops or digitally online.
Most advertisement are relevant to what website you are on.
Influencers
some forms of paid promotion do sponsors with influencers and pay them to promote their product so people will buy their product.
A good reason to sponsor and pay influencers to promote your product is that they have a pre-established community of fans that will trust the influencers judgement and may buy the product based on the influencers recommendation.
An example I have on this is The Anime Man doing multiple collaboration giveaways on Tokyo Otaku Mode that he does at the end of his videos.

General Social Media
This is where you pay to put your ad on a specific social media platform.
This form of advertisement works because almost everyone is using social media to check their shopping, news, tv & film and what new videos on youtube or facebook are out.
if you target your ad on the right platform this will really help your product move forward.
paid promotions can either be a 5, 15 or 30 second advertisement of you chosen product, your product being used as part of a sponsor with a individual with a lot of influence to potentially more business ventures with one another as well as a boost of product sales.
I believe that a paid promotion for my Final Project won't really be necessary, as I won't be paying to promote my video, rather I will be uploading it to YouTube under the gaming category and promote via social media like facebook and twitter as prime examples.
